A couple of weekends ago, I had the chance to go drive a ND Miata, bone stock down to even the tires. It belongs to a friend in Michigan. I wasn’t completely happy with my driving but it was a great fun car to drive.
It was a bit tail happy, and lacking in ultimate grip. Lots of body roll, but the transient response was still fairly crisp despite waiting for the front axle to get fully loaded up

That body roll is unreal. Would take lots of getting used to, I think.

Nothing wrong with some roll as long as the grip stays. I’d really like to drive one of these, I’ve never owned a Miata because I don’t fit into NAs and NBs, but I could see picking up an NC or one of these down the road as a fun commuter.
